The Telegram deals channel — why it is worth following

Every chain's promotions come to you instead of you hunting for them

Most people do not miss deals because they are uninterested — they miss them because they were not in the right place at the right time. A good promotion is published on Sunday, you shop on Thursday, and by then it is no longer on the chain's front page.

1. One feed instead of six apps

The channel collects the discounts from the major chains every day — Carrefour, Shufersal, Rami Levy, Yohananof, Osher Ad and others. Each deal shows the price before and after, the discount percentage, and how long it runs.

That removes the step nobody actually performs: opening six apps from six chains and comparing them before every shop.

2. Filtering what only looks like a deal

Not everything marked as a discount is an opportunity. A price of one shekel at 94 percent off is almost always a broken row in the file, and a promotion that takes thirty agorot off a product is noise that changes no bill.

The channel filters both out and posts only the discounts that genuinely move the final price.

3. The same official data the site uses

The deals come from the price files the chains are required to publish daily under the price-transparency law — the same source behind the website and the app.

So what appears in the channel is what the chain itself published: not an estimate, and not a manual copy someone refreshes once a week.

4. Who benefits most

Anyone who shops regularly at the same two or three chains: one look a week is enough to know whether it is worth changing where you shop.

And anyone planning a big shop — read the channel the day before and build the list around what is discounted, rather than finding out at the till.
